With an inviting campus, experienced teachers and faculty, and small class sizes, the Master of Arts programs at Assumption College provide you with all the resources you need to become an expert in a field you are passionate about. The school offers master degrees in School Counseling, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Counseling, the latter of which is available entirely online. If students have the necessary prerequisites, many of these degrees can be completed in one to two years time.

Because the school is located in the suburbs of New England�s second largest city, students are exposed to internship opportunities and experience in an area known for health care. This is especially important for rehabilitation counseling students, who work to uphold Assumption College�s reputation as one of only three schools in the New England area that rank in the field�s top 50 graduate programs. In an effort to extend its expertise to more students, the college has decided to offer its first-internet based degree in this subject. The online Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling debuted in August of 2007.

Faculty and teachers are constantly adding new material to their programs, and the school counseling and special education degrees are designed to prepare students for licensure in Massachusetts and other areas. In a recent survey, 95 percent of Assumption College�s graduate students reported that they were satisfied or very satisfied with the education they received there.
